New groundbreaking NHS Treatment for primary progressive MS

It was announced by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) that ocrelizumab will be available for use on the NHS for early primary progressive MS, after previously being considered too expensive for its benefits. Following a petition launched by the MS Society, and signed by over 20,000 people, the decision has now been changed. The drug is the first to work at all against primary progressive MS as previously there were no drugs to treat people with primary progressive ms.
