Personal Independence Payments (PIP) and those approaching 65

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

If you are approaching 65 (both men and women irrespective of your State Pension age) and your daily living and mobility is deteriorating because of your MS, it is important to note that you cannot apply for PIP over the age of 65.

So it is important that you apply for PIP well before your 65th birthday.

If you are awarded PIP or you already receive it, it is likely that you can continue to receive this benefit after your 65th birthday.

For more information on PIP please see https://www.gov.uk/pip.

Or speak to our free national helpline on 0808 800 8000.

If you need help with completing the benefit form speak to Alistair on 0191 386 0006 or 07746 734 811 (messages can be left) and he can arrange for someone to help you.
