Dance for MS - Now a permanant activity 2019 dates
Following the very successful taster sessions our Group will be offering Dance for MS sessions with instructor Molly Grey throughout 2019 and into 2020.
These fun seated Dance classes are open to anyone with or affected by MS.
It all happens at:

Times 1-2pm. The class is 45mins then we’ll have 15mins for teas/coffees included. There is a small recommended donation of £2.50 per person to help defray costs.

Seated yoga sessions New Dates 2019
In 2018 our group is pleased to support a further course of chair yoga sessions
They take place at Bullion Hall, Chester-le-Street, DH2 2DW.
2020 Dates to be announced
There is a suggested donation of £2.50 per session to help cover our costs.
Classes take place between 2pm and 3.15pm.
Please bring your carer if you need personal care sevices.
Coffee/Tea and biscuits and good company available before the sessions.

MS Research and Relief Outreach Groups
MS Research and Relief Fund (MSRRF) is a UK registered charity (No.228634) that aims to improve the quality of life of all people affected by MS.
MS can affect a person’s mobility, their independence and their confidence, and can also change the lives of their partners, families and friends.
They provide a range of services to help people whose lives have been affected by MS. In their seven centres and outreach groups across the North East of England, they provide complementary therapies and gentle exercise, completely free of charge to people with MS and their carers.
Users can take part in physiotherapy, gentle exercise classes, yoga and complementary therapies. In North Durham the centres are:
Meadowfield Leisure Centre, Durham, DH7 8RS Tuesdays 9:30am-12:30pm
Leadgate Community Centre, Consett, DH8 7PP Tuesdays 1:30pm-3:30pm
Belmont Parish Hall, Durham, DH1 2QR Mondays, Thursdays (Yoga), Fridays (Exercise) 10:30am-12pm
