What's going on in North Durham?

Multiple Sclerosis Society North Durham Group runs and supports many events including Chair Yoga and Seated Dance. You’re sure to find something that strikes your interest. Make sure you don’t miss out on exercising, socialising and making new friends especially after lockdown. Check out our Seated Yoga and Dance schedules below and join us soon.

Dance for MS  face to face sessions are here!!

Molly our lovely tutor will be re-start our ever-popular North Durham seated Dance group from Friday 5th November  at The Venue Community Centre, Wear Rd, Stanley DH9 6AH

 

The sessions will run as before on Fridays 1-2pm during term time only from 5th November- 17th December (7 weeks) and then begin again 14th January.

 

The classes are free but with a donation recommendation of £2.50 to cover coffee/biscuits

Seated yoga sessions starting in Nov 2021

They take place on a Wednesday at Bullion Hall, Chester-le-Street, DH2 2DW under our lovely tutor Jacqueline.

Dates for your diary 

  • 3rd November to the 15th December (7 weeks). 

  • 12th January to the 16th February (6 weeks)

  • 2nd March to the 6th April (6 weeks). 

  • 27th May to 25th June (5 weeks) 1

  • 15th June to 20th July (6 weeks)

​Classes are free. There is a suggested donation of £2.50 per session to help cover our costs.


Classes take place between 1:30pm and 2.45pm and not as orginally advertised 2pm

Please bring your carer if you need personal care services.


Coffee/Tea and biscuits and good company available before the sessions.
